My daughter harvested this beautiful buck at our lease in Southern Mississippi on a cold, frosty morning. She initially thought nothing would move because of the ice on the ground, but her dad insisted she go sit in the stand. Just five minutes after getting settled, she opened a side window—and there he was, walking straight toward her. She dropped him with one shot, but that was just the beginning of the adventure. Her dad twisted his ankle while trying to drag the nearly 250-pound buck across the ice, leading to doctor visits and physical therapy. A hunt to remember!
